Well well… I knew that the little Digtial Pen EP1 would spark at least a few clones. Having had one on loan for a couple of weeks now I straight away saw the potential this type of camera has. I also thought that other smart manufacturers must be ready to jump on the bandwagon… These Micro 4/3 cameras are a blessing for those who want a rangefinder style camera and the ability to use Leica and Voigtlander M mount lenses without buying an M8.
Now it looks like Panasonic are set to release their version of the Pen called the GF1! We can see right away it looks to have a pop up flash, something I must admit I have missed on the EP1 also a different dial layout and a very big plus it comes in black.
