Ok… if you like action, if you like sci-fi or fantasy books ( or B horror movies for that matter) that are written totally tongue in cheek then this is a book for you! I spent my teens reading Harry Harrison’s Stainless Steel Rat and Rodger Zelanzy’s books such as My Name is Legion and and loved them. This book raises the bar one hundred fold.
Oh and did I mention that it’s a trilogy… 3 times the monster goodness! I really recommend listening to the audio version as the narrator Oliver Wyman brings it to life you can get it here at audible.
