Here are some of the first Kodachrome photos.

Charles Cushman was one of the early adopters of Kodachrome. Taking tens of thousands of photos both abroad and in the United States between 1938 and 1961. Luckily over 14,000 of his slides were bequeathed to the University of Indiana which has cataloged them all and put them online in a very well organised and easy to search website.

What an amazing old fellow I bet he would have had some interesting tales to tell. I’m sure people photos make you stop and have a think about the person in them. Especially old ones like this.
